Job summary

Ambitions Personnel is recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Operative in Peterborough to join a busy manufacturing/warehouse site. Immediate starts available for reliable candidates on a 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am shift pattern (4 on, 4 off). Temporary to permanent opportunities with a new factory and excellent facilities.

Candidates must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and have prior FLT driving experience. Flexible and safety-focused attitude is essential for this fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance FLT equipment
• Load and unload goods and materials

• Prepare products for dispatch
• Label and weigh products
• Carry out general warehouse and production duties
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Assist with other duties as required

We have opportunities for FLT Counterbalance Drivers, working within busy manufacturing and warehouse environments in the Woodston area. A new factory with exceptional facilities.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence

• Experience working within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment is advantageous
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Flexible approach to duties and shift requirements
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Duties Include

• Operating Counterbalance FLT equipment
• Loading and unloading goods and materials
• Moving stock and materials safely around the site
• Supporting production and machine operating activities
• Preparing products for dispatch
• Labelling and weighing products
• Completing general warehouse and production duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Assisting with other duties as required
