Job summary

Ambitions Personnel is recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing operation in Peterborough. The role offers a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern and an immediate start with a pay rate of £13.04 per hour.

You will operate a forklift truck safely, move stock, support warehouse and production, perform daily checks and adhere to health and safety guidelines. Both day and night shifts are included in the rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous FLT operating experience is essential.
• Valid RTITB Counterbalance FLT licence required.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and in a team.
• Comfortable working both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

FLT Driver – 4 On / 4 Off

IMMEDIATE START

Location: Peterborough
Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing operation in Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous forklift experience who is looking for a consistent shift pattern and regular blocks of time off.

The Role

• Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently within a busy working environment.

• Moving, loading and unloading materials and stock.

• Supporting warehouse and production operations to ensure materials are in the right place at the right time.

• Maintaining accurate stock movements and following site procedures.

• Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults.

• Following all health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, organised working area.

The Shift Pattern

• 4 days on, followed by 4 days off.

• 2 day shifts (6am - 6pm), followed by 2 night shifts (6pm - 6am).

• 4 consecutive days off after each shift rotation.

Requirements

• Previous FLT operating experience is essential.

• Valid RTITB Counterbalance FLT licence is needed.

• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable working both day and night shifts.
