Job summary

Acorn Recruitment and Synergie are seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a client site in Runcorn on a temporary, ongoing basis. The role covers general FLT duties, production support and hygiene tasks with full training provided, including double-fork trucks.

The shift is two 12-hour nights with four days off, on a 4 on/4 off pattern, with overtime opportunities and weekly pay. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Valid RTITB or ITSSAR counterbalance forklift licence refreshed within the last three years.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklift trucks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Flexible, practical and hardworking approach.
• Keen eye for detail and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general FLT and production duties.
• Ensure production lines are supplied with required raw materials.
• Move finished products from production area to storage.
• Carry out hygiene duties.
• Operate FLT trucks, including double-fork trucks; experience with double-fork desirable but not essential.

FLT Counterbalance Driver | Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Runcorn | £15.20 per hour | 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days and nights | Temporary ongoing | Immediate start

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join its client at Whitehouse Industrial Estate in Runcorn on a temporary, ongoing basis.

Full training is provided for all truck types, including double-fork trucks.

  Shift Pattern

  Two 12-hour night shifts, 6pm-6am.

  Followed by four days off.

  Key Duties

  • Carry out general FLT and production duties.
  • Ensure production lines are supplied with the required raw materials.
  • Move finished products from the production area to storage.
  • Carry out hygiene duties.
  • Operate FLT trucks, including double-fork trucks. Experience with double-fork trucks is desirable but not essential.
