SSEN Transmission seeks a Forestry Manager (Compensatory Planting) to plan and deliver compensatory planting across its north Scotland projects. You will lead woodland design, manage budgets and ensure planting commitments are met safely and within environmental requirements.

You will coordinate with project teams, landowners and external bodies to identify planting opportunities, oversee risk management and ensure compliant delivery from development through to aftercare.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of forestry management and woodland creation.
• Understanding of forestry measurement protocols and planting delivery.
• Experience with Environmental Impact Assessment inputs and planning.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, design and delivery of compensatory planting across projects.
• Develop planting proposals, woodland management plans and agreements.
• Identify planting opportunities and manage forestry risks.
• Provide forestry input across project lifecycle from site ID to aftercare.
• Build relationships with landowners, contractors and authorities.
