Job summary

Term Time Teachers is seeking an experienced Forest School Lead for a full-time position in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The role involves leading Forest School sessions for children aged 3–13, developing an outdoor learning programme, and supporting the wider school life.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Forest School qualification, have 2+ years of practical Forest School experience, and possess strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Forest School qualification is required.
• At least 2 years' practical Forest School experience.
• Paediatric First Aid or willingness to train is required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging Forest School sessions for children aged 3–13.
• Plan and develop an outdoor learning programme across Pre-Prep and Prep.
• Promote confidence, wellbeing and independence through outdoor activities.
• Work with teachers to link outdoor learning across the curriculum.
• Oversee equipment, risk assessments, health & safety, and site management.
• Observe and assess children’s development; contribute to clubs and events.
