Job summary

Forest Barn Nursery, part of the Storal family, is recruiting for Forest School roles at our Brentwood site. You will plan, deliver and develop a Forest School program across year groups, supporting children's development through play-based activities in a warm setting.

We seek dedicated individuals with Forest School lead qualifications, EYFS knowledge and a collaborative spirit to join a nurturing team, with extensive benefits and a strong focus on child welfare.

Qualifications

• Forest School Lead qualification.
• Early Years qualification at Level 2/3.
• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver a range of Forest School sessions across the school.
• Plan and deliver the Forest School Curriculum through weekly sessions for year groups as scheduled.
• Deliver weekly Forest School Nurture group provision to support social, communication, behaviour or wellbeing needs.
• Promote the values and ethos of Forest Barn Nursery and Storal group.
• Provide guidance to volunteers or support staff assisting with sessions.
