Job summary

Lime Tree Primary Academy is seeking a Forest School Lead to create and deliver an inspiring programme of Forest School and outdoor learning for children aged 2-11. You will provide engaging, hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, curiosity and resilience while working with colleagues to build an inclusive, progressive curriculum.

Job description

As our Forest School Lead, you will take the lead in creating and delivering an inspiring programme of Forest School and outdoor learning for children aged 2-11. You will provide engaging, hands‑on experiences that encourage children to explore the natural world, take appropriate risks and develop their curiosity, creativity, confidence, resilience and independence. Working with colleagues across the school, you will help build a progressive outdoor learning curriculum that is inclusive, purposeful and responsive to the individual needs and interests of every child.

You will be a passionate champion for Forest School, ensuring that outdoor learning makes a meaningful contribution to children’s learning, development and wellbeing. Alongside planning and delivering high-quality sessions, you will oversee the safe and effective management of the Forest School environment, including risk assessments, resources and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop our Forest School provision and create memorable outdoor learning experiences that foster a lifelong appreciation and respect for the natural world.

This role will be Monday - Thursday 8.15am-4.00pm.
