Job summary

Forest Barn Nursery School in Brentwood is seeking a Forest School Lead to plan, deliver and manage outdoor learning sessions that promote child development while keeping safety at the forefront.

You will deliver weekly Forest School Curriculum and nurture sessions, guiding volunteers and staff, with EYFS knowledge and a Forest School Lead qualification. Earnings: up to £15.71/hour, full- or part-time, with strong benefits.

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with management, peers and parents.
• Commitment to child development and care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and manage outdoor Forest School sessions.
• Deliver weekly Forest School Curriculum across year groups.
• Provide Forest School nurture sessions to support social, communication or wellbeing needs.
• Promote the values and ethos of Forest Barn Nursery School.
• Guide volunteers or support staff during sessions.
