Job summary

Forest Holidays Limited is seeking a part-time Food and Beverage Assistant at Blackwood Forest to join our Forest Retreat team. The role involves guest-facing service in our café and shop, with shifts starting no earlier than 8 am and finishing by 9 pm.

You will help deliver a calm, natural guest experience, manage café and retail duties, and be part of a team dedicated to high standards of service in a forest setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality or retail preferred).
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and approachable attitude.
• Flexible across different tasks and shifts.
• Love for working in outdoor settings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent service throughout their stay.
• Prepare and serve food and drinks in the café.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas.
• Support stock control, restock shelves, and assist with deliveries.
• Operate tills, handle payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Work as part of a close-knit team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Assist with the set-up and running of events and activities where required.
