Job summary

Mountain Healthcare, a UK leader in forensic healthcare within Health and Justice, is seeking a GMC-registered Doctor to join the Sexual Offence Examiner role across paediatric and adult services in SARC settings. Travel to base locations may be required.

The role offers 24-hour contract patterns with potential part-time consideration, a pro rata salary of £80,504.16–£90,056.21, and substantial support for education and professional development including funded courses and mentorship.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered Doctor with post‑Foundation experience
• Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality essential
• Experience in sexual health, paediatrics, GP or Obs/Gynae preferred

Responsibilities

• Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits
• Develop forensic strategies per FFLM guidelines
• Work with external MDTs and Police
• Be Point of contact for Police and Social Services
• Undertake holistic assessments including sexual health and safeguarding
• Support quality improvement of the service
• Comply with Forensic Science Regulator requirements
• Obtain consent for Health and Forensic procedures
