Job summary

Mountain Healthcare is recruiting a GMC-registered Doctor to join its Sexual Offence Examination team, delivering forensic healthcare at SARC settings. The role covers paediatric and adult services with travel to sites as needed, offering a pro rata salary and professional development through funded courses.

You will work under the guidance of mentors and engage with NHSE, police, and wider criminal justice agencies to provide trauma-informed, compassionate care to victims of sexual assault.

Qualifications

• Essential: GMC-registered Doctor.
• Minimum 3 years plus relevant post-foundation experience.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
• Develop Forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
• Partner with external MDTs and Police.
• Discuss referral pathways with Police and Social Services.
