Job summary

Mountain Healthcare in the UK is seeking a GMC-registered Doctor to join our Sexual Offence Examiner team, delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care to victims of sexual assault across SARC settings. The role covers paediatric and adult services, with travel between base locations as needed.

You will undertake forensic examinations, work with external MDTs and police, and progress through an education plan supported by mentors.

Qualifications

GMC-registered Doctor with current license.
Minimum 3 years post-foundation experience.
Knowledge of safeguarding children and adults.
Knowledge of confidentiality.
Experience in Sexual health, Paediatrics, GP or Obs/Gynae.
UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Advanced DBS and Level 2 Police vetting; residency in UK 3 years.
Medical Indemnity by start date.

Responsibilities

Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
Develop Forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
Actively working in partnership with external MDTs and Police.
Point of contact for Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways.
Undertaking holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
Supporting the continued quality improvement of the service.
Working under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
Obtaining consent for Health and Forensic procedures
