Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Forensic/Clinical Psychologist to join Three Valleys Hospital in North Yorkshire on a 22.5-hour week. You will deliver individual and group interventions, carry out assessments, contribute to treatment pathways and risk assessments, and design staff training.

Reporting to the Lead Psychologist, you will work within a multidisciplinary team with regular supervision and CPD opportunities, applying evidence-based practice in a secure psychiatric setting and

Qualifications

• BPS recognised psychology degree required.
• HPC Registration required.
• Chartered Psychologist status expected.
• Approved supervisor within BPS guidelines preferred.
• Evidence-based psychological practice essential.
• Experience applying psychology in forensic/psychiatric settings.
• Experience in research and project work.

Responsibilities

• Attend CPA reviews and provide psychological input for MDT decisions.
• Assess service users with psychometric measures; report results.
• Develop evidence-based practices and policies per service delivery agreement.
• Conduct research and publish/present findings.
