MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy in Belfast is seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant at Manager/Senior Manager level for a hybrid role. You will manage personal injury-focused forensic cases, review reports for legal proceedings, and collaborate with partners, clients and solicitors to drive timely, accurate outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified preferred, but open to ATI or QBE candidates with strong experience
• Experience in forensic accounting, ideally with personal injury claims
• Manager or Senior Manager level, able to manage a portfolio independently
• Strong organisational skills and able to manage competing deadlines
• Experience reviewing work and supporting or developing junior team members
• Good communication skills, comfortable dealing with clients, solicitors and senior colleagues
• Flexible and able to handle a growing workload as the portfolio expands

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of forensic accounting cases, mainly focused on personal injury claims
• Prepare and review reports for legal proceedings, keeping on top of deadlines and multiple cases
• Work closely with Partners, clients and solicitors, while reviewing trainee work and providing guidance
• Take ownership of the day to day workload and help manage the growing volume of personal injury work across Northern Ireland
• Work with the wider UK team, with the opportunity to help grow the Belfast team and develop the personal injury offering

The Role

You will have a wide range of duties, such as;

• Manage a portfolio of forensic accounting cases, mainly focused on personal injury claims, analysing financial information and calculating losses.
• Prepare and review reports for legal proceedings, keeping on top of deadlines and multiple cases.
• Work closely with Partners, clients and solicitors, while reviewing trainee work and providing guidance.
