FRP Advisory Group in Belfast is seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant to manage personal injury engagements, quantify financial losses, and support case strategy. You will mentor junior staff and help grow FRP's Forensic Services practice, liaising with solicitors, insurers and counsel.

The role requires ACA/ACCA or equivalent, plus proven experience in forensic accounting, disputes, or expert witness work, with strong financial modelling and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience reviewing complex financial information and producing high-quality written reports.

• Experience supervising, mentoring or reviewing the work of others.

Mansioni

• Manage a portfolio of personal injury forensic accounting engagements, acting as the primary contact for solicitors, insurers, counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and review financial loss calculations, including loss of earnings, business losses, pension losses, care claims, and dependency claims.
• Analyse financial, employment, business, and tax records to quantify past and future economic losses.
• Identify key quantum issues, determine information requirements, and assess supporting evidence.
• Assist in developing case strategy and advising on approaches to loss quantification.
• Prepare and review expert reports, schedules of loss, joint statements, and critiques of opposing expert evidence.
• Support expert witness assignments, including conferences with counsel, mediations, and court proceedings where required.
• Manage case deadlines, budgets, and resource requirements, ensuring efficient delivery of engagements.
• Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing coaching and technical guidance.
• Contribute to practice development through business development, client relationship management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Take a leading role in the development and growth of the personal injury practice, identifying opportunities to expand client relationships, enhance service offerings, and strengthen the firm's market presence within the personal injury sector.
