Job summary

Bluelink is seeking experienced Foremen to lead a small gang on Manchester and North West refurb projects. You will organise labour, monitor quality and keep trades moving safely on site, reporting to the Site Manager.

The role demands hands-on leadership of a four-man crew, CSCS card, and clear communication to trades. A trade background and solid problem-solving under pressure are essential for success in a fast-paced, high-quality build environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading a gang or acting as chargehand / foreman.
• Trade background (carpentry, finishing, groundworks or multi-trade).
• CSCS card; SSSTS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small gang / multi-trade crew day to day.
• Allocate tasks, check workmanship and keep the programme moving.
• Enforce PPE, RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate deliveries, plant and materials on the plot.
• Raise issues early to the Site Manager with clear solutions.
• Mentor apprentices and less experienced operatives.
