Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover Central London (Zones 1–2) on a foot mobile basis, servicing around 10-15 commercial buildings. The role focuses on mechanical maintenance with a strong emphasis on PPM and reactive work.

You should hold City & Guilds/NVQ in Mechanical Eng, possess a JIB Gold Card, and be comfortable attending multiple sites. The package offers up to £45,000 p.a., overtime, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Level 2 & 3.
• JIB Gold Card (or equivalent).
• Trades certificates to be provided on request.

Responsibilities

• Air Conditioning - AHU / FCU servicing and cleaning.
• Pumps, motors and general mechanical plant maintenance.
• Carrying out remedials and small mechanical installations.
• Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance.
• Keeping log books up to date.
• Assisting other engineers and providing technical support.

Job description

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber - FM Service Provider - Foot Mobile / London Portfolio (Zones 1&2) - Up to £45,000

Exciting opportunity to work for a family run FM service provider situated in London. CBW are currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover in the region of circa 10-15 commercial buildings located in Central London (Zones 1&2) on a reactive basis. The successful candidate will be Mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, installation and testing & inspection.

This is a Foot Mobile position and will require the successful candidate to attend a number of sites where he or she will be required to carry out PPM/Reactive maintenance to mechanical and electrical plant with particular emphasis on mechanical maintenance. In return the company is offering a competitive salary paying up to £45,000 per annum based on experience/qualifications, overtime and further training.

Responsibilities

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (servicing, filter changes, cleaning)
• Pumps, Motors & general mechanical plant maintenance
• Remedials
• Small Mechanical Installations
• Carry out PPM's & Reactive maintenance
• Ensuring log books are kept up to date
• Assisting other engineers
• Offering technical support

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00pm

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Level 2 & 3
• JIB Gold Card (or equivalent)
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of commercial building maintenance
• You must be happy to work on a "Foot Mobile" basis and attend multiple sites (i.e. this is not a mobile role where a vehicle is provided)
