Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in London is seeking two Foot Mobile Mechanical Engineers for commercial buildings in Central London. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across 3-4 buildings in zones 1 and 2 with a travel card provided. Immediate start and temp ongoing contract. Working hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will have mechanical qualifications, building maintenance experience and strong communication skills to interact with clients on site.

Qualifications

• Must provide copies of trade certificates.
• Mechanically/plumbing qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (filters, cleaning).
• Work on cooling towers and complete signed-off audits.
• Reset Chillers and monitor Water Treatment (temperature checks).
• Plumbing tasks including unblocking toilets and pumps/motors maintenance.
• Monitor BMS systems and UPS readings; support emergency lighting.

Foot Mobile Mechanical Engineer – FM Service Provider - City of London- Temp ongoing - Immediate start

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM building services company based in the City. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for two foot mobile engineers to be based in commercial buildings in Central London on a temp ongoing basis. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance covering multiple buildings. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have proven track record in building maintenance.

Hours of work / Information

• Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm
• Foot Mobile, covering 3-4 buildings Commercial and Residential
• Based around zones 1 & 2 ( travel card provided )
• Temporary ongoing
• £26p/h

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Dealing with all aspects of maintenance & cooling towers & signing off work complete for an audit
• Chillers - Reset
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
• Emergency lighting

Requirements
