CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Foot Mobile Fabric Engineer for client direct assignments in London. The role covers a range of fabric maintenance tasks across commercial offices, including routine testing, decorating, lighting, carpentry, and basic repairs.

Travel within Zones 1–2 is required, with overtime and progression opportunities. The position offers a salary up to £40,000 depending on experience and certificates, along with benefits such as travelcard, 28 days leave,

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Good understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance.
• Confident, client-facing with strong communication skills.
• Willing to travel within Zones 1–2 and work across key sites.

Responsibilities

• Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests.
• Painting & Decorating.
• Basic lighting tasks.
• Basic Carpentry and plumbing duties.
• Fixing furniture and fittings.
• Hanging pictures & shelves.
• Maintain and update log books.
• Assist the maintenance team on site.
• Escort sub-contractors on site.
• Undertake basic fabric duties (touch-ups, hinges, blinds, locks, small repairs).

Foot Mobile Fabric Engineer - Client Direct - London - Commercial Offices - Up to £40K

The Opportunity

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join one of the fastest-growing companies of it's type in London. Currently there are opportunities within the organisation forfabric engineersdue to growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests
• Painting & Decorating
• Basic lighting
• Basic Carpentry and plumbing
• Fixing Furniture
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc

Salary & Package

• Up to £40,000 depending on discipline, certificates and experience

What We're Looking For
