Job summary

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are seeking Food Waste Collection Driver/Loaders to service both districts. You will operate collection vehicles, collect waste weekly from residential properties, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation.

The role requires a Class 2 HGV licence, CPC and tachograph cards, flexible work across depots, and a strong commitment to safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK Driving Licence with Class 2 entitlement (Category C).
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card and a digital tachograph card.
• Experience driving HGV vehicles in a public-facing environment.
• Commitment to health and safety requirements and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate food waste collection vehicles.
• Collect food waste from residential properties weekly.
• Work with a crew to deliver a dependable, customer-focused service.
• Comply with health and safety and road traffic legislation.
