Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the KS3 & KS4 Food Technology curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced in Nottingham.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess Food Technology lessons in line with department policy and health & safety standards.
  • Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Manage classroom practical setups, hygiene protocols, and culinary equipment.
  • Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required.

Food Technology Teacher - Nottingham (QTS Required)

Location: Nottingham

Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Start Date: Immediate / January 2027

Pay Rate: £130-£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Qualification: QTS required

Experience: Minimum 6 months' teaching experience in a UK secondary school

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Food Technology educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. Key Responsibilities
