Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• At least 6 months of Food Technology teaching experience in a UK secondary setting.
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching available if experienced.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Collaborative approach to school life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 Food Technology curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced in Nottingham.
• Plan, prepare, and assess Food Technology lessons in line with department policy and health & safety standards.
• Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions.
• Manage classroom practical setups, hygiene protocols, and culinary equipment.
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required.
