Job summary

Ivy Resource Group is recruiting a Temporary Food Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Cirencester from March 2027. You will teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, delivering practical and theory-based lessons while taking on planning, preparation and marking responsibilities.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, strong classroom management, and a commitment to raising achievement in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

Temporary Food Technology Teacher - Part time (3 days per week)

Location: Cirencester

Start date: March 2027

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in the Gloucestershire area for a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team from March 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with a specialism in Food Preparation and Nutrition/Cooking to deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for planning, preparation, marking, and assessment.

The Role

• Teach Food Technology/Food Preparation & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
• Undertake full planning, preparation, and marking responsibilities
• Monitor and support pupil progress

Requirements
