Job Description:
Do you have a passion for working within the Food Service Industry? If so, read on, as we have a vacancy covering Leeds and the surrounding area for a Food Service Support Manager.
The role supports the running and development of existing and new branded/non-branded food service concepts like Subway, WCP, and Greggs across our network in England and Wales. This includes the Company’s Food Service operation, where all site outlets are supported to achieve the required Company brand standard.
We are looking for individuals with a Food Service background. This role requires regular travel.
Key Activities:
- Support the Food Service Project Manager with the running of the Branded Franchise concept throughout the network in line with brand and Rontec policy.
- Support the Food Service Project Manager with all Rontec non-Branded concepts across the network in line with brand and Rontec policy.
- Conduct detailed site visits, review sales, performance data, and KPIs to identify opportunities to increase sales, improve efficiencies, and reduce costs. Provide summary reports of visits and follow through to completion.
- Follow up on previous site visits by yourself, Brand partners, or Rontec management.
- Perform site visits on under-performing sites, identify root causes, and work with site teams and Area Managers to improve standards per Rontec Policy.
- Assist in preparing Weekly and Monthly reports, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Help set up systems and ensure relevant teams are trained on them.
- Support new openings and closures of food offers.
- Act as a hands-on trainer and mentor to site staff.
- Communicate regularly with the Food Service Project Manager regarding opportunities, concerns, or issues.
- Work with Area Managers to ensure they are trained to monitor and drive standards of the food business.
- Develop Food Standards to meet evaluation and audit requirements.
- Support the ongoing development of food brands within the business.
- Liaise between the Food Service Team, Operations Team, HR Team, and external parties to ensure training and people targets are met.
- Complete 1 weekend site visit per month.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to manage processes for delivering excellent service
- Understanding of relevant legislation
