Job description

Do you have a passion for working within the Food Service Industry? If so, read on, as we have a vacancy covering Leeds and the surrounding area for a Food Service Support Manager.

The role supports the running and development of existing and new branded/non-branded food service concepts such as Subway, WCP, and Greggs across our network in England and Wales. This includes the Company's Food Service operation, where all site outlets are supported to achieve the required Company brand standards.

We are looking for individuals with a Food Service background. This role requires regular travel.

Key Activities:

  1. Support the Food Service Project Manager in running the Branded Franchise concept throughout the network, ensuring compliance with brand and Rontec policy.
  2. Support the Food Service Project Manager in managing all Rontec non-branded concepts across the network, adhering to brand and company policies.
  3. Conduct detailed site visits, review sales, performance data, and KPIs to identify opportunities for increasing sales, efficiencies, and cost savings. Prepare summary reports and follow through to completion.
  4. Follow up on previous site visits by yourself, brand partners, or Rontec management.
  5. Visit under-performing sites, identify root causes, and collaborate with site teams and Area Managers to improve standards in line with Rontec policy.
  6. Assist the Food Service Project Manager with weekly and monthly reports, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  7. Support the setup of systems and ensure relevant teams are trained adequately.
  8. Assist in the setup and closure of food offers as needed.
  9. Support site staff as a hands-on trainer and mentor.
  10. Maintain regular communication with the Food Service Project Manager about opportunities, concerns, or issues related to food operations.
  11. Work with Area Managers to ensure they are trained to monitor and uphold food standards successfully.
  12. Develop Food Standards to ensure the company meets standards during evaluations or audits.
  13. Support the ongoing development of food brands within the business.
  14. Liaise between the Food Service Team, Operations Team, HR Team, and external parties to meet training and people targets.
  15. Complete one weekend site visit per month.
