Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a proactive Warehouse Picker to join a fast-paced food production warehouse on a temp-to-perm basis. You will pick orders with handheld scanners and use WMS, supporting accurate and efficient stock management.

Shifts 08:00 to 17:00, Start ASAP, pay £12.71 per hour via agency, rising to £13.40 per hour when permanent. It's a physically active role requiring lifting 12–15 kg, in a team setting with daily KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse picking.
• Comfort using handheld scanners and WMS.
• Familiar with PPT/ride-on trucks or willing to learn.
• Proactive, observant and reliable.
• Physically fit and able to lift 12–15 kg.
• Able to work at pace and meet targets.
• Good understanding of English.
• Punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Motivated by achieving KPIs and productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately using handheld scanners.
• Use WMS to process orders.
• Operate ride-on trucks/PPTs.
• Move stock safely around the warehouse.
• Lift and handle boxes weighing 12–15 kg.
• Work toward KPI and productivity targets.
• Check picked items for accuracy.
• Follow warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organized.
