As a key player in our team, you will help ensure that products meet industry regulations and quality standards, while also supporting the due diligence of both food and non-food products. About the Position
Shift:Monday to Friday
Location:Rotherham
Contract:40 hours per week, Full-Time, Permanent

The day to day

  • Using your technical knowledge toensure product compliancewith the latest regulations.
  • Working closely withretailer food suppliersto manage product specifications and quality attributes.
  • Collecting and analysing testing data to supportmarketability reportsfor retailers.
  • Responding totechnical queriesfrom clients and preparing detailed reports.
  • Preparing food samples fororganoleptic testing(taste, smell, and texture analysis).
  • Conductingphysical, organoleptic, and appearance testingon products.

The Essentials
  • Adegree-level qualificationin Food Sciences, Nutrition, or a related scientific field (or be in the final year of your degree).
  • Asolid understandingof food regulations, labelling, and the food industry.
  • Strongreporting and writing skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Theability to work independentlyand as part of a team, managing projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Amethodical, organised, and analytical approach, withexceptional attention to detail.
  • The confidence to makewell-informed decisionsquickly and effectively.
  • Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • A stronginterest in the food industryand a desire to learn and grow within the sector.
