Job summary

Ethero is seeking a Hygiene Supervisor in Derby for a permanent role. You will lead the Hygiene Operatives, organise duties and rotas, and ensure daily hygiene activities align with production schedules and KPI targets.

Responsibilities include documentation, safety compliance, and assisting the Hygiene Manager with recruitment, staff development, and audits. Strong organisation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant food hygiene qualification to at least level 2.
• Ability to supervise a Hygiene department and plan tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hygiene team to meet site KPI targets.
• Organise duties and staffing rotas with appropriate cover.
• Collaborate with Operations to maintain in-shift hygiene support.
• Ensure hygiene documentation is completed and auditable daily.
• Drive safety standards across the team in line with H&S requirements.
• Assist Hygiene Manager with recruitment, training and staff development.
• Prepare management reports and assist in audits.
