Job summary

Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Food Hall team. You will help stock shelves, display products to a high standard and provide friendly customer service throughout visits to our store.

The role involves maintaining food safety standards, ensuring products are fresh and correctly priced, and working a 37.5-hour week with Monday to Friday shifts and a rota’d day off, plus alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in food retail preferred.
• Food safety qualification preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and approachable attitude.
• Willingness to develop and learn.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment and merchandising of stock.
• Dealing with customer enquiries.
• General housekeeping of the department and ensuring retail standards.
• Adhering to stock rotation, date checking, and temperature monitoring.
• Ensuring that all products are correctly priced, clearly marked and displayed safely.
• Assisting in other parts of the business as required.
