Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Food Hall team. You will help stock shelves, display products to a high standard and provide friendly customer service throughout visits to our store.

The role involves maintaining food safety standards, ensuring products are fresh and correctly priced, and working a 37.5-hour week with Monday to Friday shifts and a rota’d day off, plus alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in food retail preferred.
• Food safety qualification preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and approachable attitude.
• Willingness to develop and learn.

Responsabilités

• Replenishment and merchandising of stock.
• Dealing with customer enquiries.
• General housekeeping of the department and ensuring retail standards.
• Adhering to stock rotation, date checking, and temperature monitoring.
• Ensuring that all products are correctly priced, clearly marked and displayed safely.
• Assisting in other parts of the business as required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Food Hall team at Longacres Bagshot. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in maintaining a well-presented department. You will play an important role in ensuring our shelves are fully stocked, our products are displayed to a high standard, and our customers receive friendly and helpful service throughout their visit. The role also involves maintaining food safety standards and ensuring products are fresh, correctly priced and ready for our customers to enjoy. Previous experience in food retail would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
