Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Customer Assistant in our Food section to be at the frontline of the UK’s fastest-growing retailer. You’ll deliver five-star service under pressure and be ready to roll up your sleeves to meet strong demand.

You’ll work early mornings, be digitally confident with Sparks App and store devices, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment across multiple store areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older due to health and safety regulations.
• Strong customer service mindset with ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work early mornings and weekends, including shifts like 04:00–08:00.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, five-star service to customers on the shop floor.
• Use Sparks App and in-store devices to assist customers and complete transactions.
• Support different store areas as needed and adapt to changing demands.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high store standards and drive sales.
