Job summary

Danone in Kettering is hiring a Formulation Operator to oversee the blending process of our semi-finished products and ensure safe, productive operations.

You will manage startup/shutdown of the plant, monitor equipment, read P&IDs, perform stock takes and record daily production statistics while adhering to food safety, allergen, and hygiene standards. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Awareness of food allergens and basic food hygiene.
• Proficiency with MS Office or similar IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the blending/formulation process for the semi-finished product line.
• Follow up on inbound/outbound product transport.
• Maintain food safety, process quality and yield standards.
• Start-up and shutdown of the manufacturing plant.
• Read and understand P&IDs and trace process lines.
• Conduct regular stock takes and record production statistics.
• Monitor equipment operation and record accurate daily information.
