Job summary

Danone is seeking a Formulation Operator for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Kettering site. The role involves overseeing the blending process, coordinating inbound and outbound transport, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will operate start-up and shutdown procedures, read P&IDs, trace process lines, and record daily production statistics. The ideal candidate has GCSEs, strong English, and experience in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• GCSE standard or equivalent required.
• Be able to communicate in written and verbal English.
• Experience in working in food manufacturing environment.
• Awareness of food allergens and basic food hygiene.
• Working knowledge of MS Office/IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the blending (formulation) process of the semi-finished product to keep planned work on track.
• Follow up on inbound/outbound transport of products.
• Maintain food safety, process quality and yield standards; monitor equipment operation.
• Responsible for start-up and shutdown of the manufacturing plant.
• Read and understand P&IDs and trace process lines; record production statistics daily.
