Job summary

The Polo Club Hotel in Warwickshire is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the F&B Manager in daily restaurant and bar operations. You will lead by example, coach the team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all service areas.

You will drive guest satisfaction by training staff, resolving feedback, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation while ensuring cost controls and stock management are in place.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or be a strong Restaurant / Bar team member looking to take on additional responsibility.
• Great communication skills so you can chat to our guests and of course the team.
• Flexibility – to enjoy working different shift patterns and seeing the operation on different days of the week including the weekends.
• The ability to recognise what our customers want and need and be able to provide it.
• Have a genuine interest in providing hospitality to our customers. Confidence with systems and taking payments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in day-to-day running of F&B operations, deputising in their absence.
• Ensure the department delivers the minimum Food and Beverage brand standards.
• Empower the team to handle all guest feedback and maintain service levels.
• Anticipate customer needs and enhance satisfaction to exceed expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to company standards and safety policies.
• Ensure team uniforms and personal hygiene meet standards, and staff are punctual and courteous.
• Assist in forecasting and rotas to align with budgets and service needs.
• Help control costs through stock management and wastage reduction.
• Oversee monthly stocktakes and address discrepancies.
• Ensure staff induction and regular Check-Ins for development and guest satisfaction.
