Job summary

voco Zeal Exeter Science Park is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests.

You will oversee the Food & Beverage team, assist in food and beverage service, maintain high standards, and support with events and daily operations. The role is based at voco Zeal Exeter with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Food and Beverage team as they carry out their duties.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
