Salary: £37,000 per annum

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of service and providing a fine dining experience for guests.

You will lead your Assistant Manager and Supervisors, ensuring effective management on the floor and that the team is fully trained in all aspects of the F&B operation.

High standards and in-depth knowledge of our Food are essential; you will ensure these standards are maintained and that your team remains informed and motivated to deliver exceptional service.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all Food and Beverage meet budgeted targets.
  • Maximising average spends through appropriate training and communication systems.
  • Understanding budget construction and influencing profit and loss results.
  • Assisting in budget preparation.
  • Monitoring stock movement, ensuring stock security, and adjusting prices to meet margins, in collaboration with the Cost Controller.
  • Following stock ordering procedures as outlined by the Cost Controller.
  • Providing training and development for employees in Food and Beverage procedures.
  • Developing strong working relationships with all departments, colleagues, and managers to meet guest expectations.
  • Building relationships with customers to maximise sales opportunities and generate future business.
  • Planning for staff peaks and troughs to prevent staff shortages.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Food & Beverage Manager with a proven track record in delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant environment. Strong communication skills, cost management experience, team recruitment and motivation abilities, and a collaborative approach are essential.
