Job summary

Bespoke Hotels is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to lead Food and Beverage operations. You will drive excellence across all F&B activities, maximize profits, and inspire a motivated team to exceed guest expectations.

The role focuses on training, product knowledge, and ensuring safety and hygiene standards while achieving revenue targets and managing staffing in line with occupancy and events.

Requirements:

The ideal person will have at least strong experience, ideally 1-2 years in a similar position and will have the ability to deliver great service to our guests.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, that is reliable and willing to learn as part of this growing team.

Duties will include:

1. To deliver excellence across all Food and Beverage activities, maximising profits and
   exploiting opportunities for improved efficiencies and to effectively lead and
   develop a highly-motivated team to exceed customer expectations.
2. To develop, motivate and support your team so as to ensure that all company and department objectives and standards are met
3. To ensure that all food and beverage staff are trained on product knowledge and wine specifications.
4. To achieve food and beverage revenue targets and profit conversions
5. To plan and manage staffing levels effectively in accordance with the hotel’s occupancy, events, forecasts and budget.
6. Ensure a safe, secure and hygienic environment for customers, staff and visitors to be maintained
7. To provide and effectively communicate clear direction to the team especially during peak business.
8. To effectively recruit, select and manage team members who meet the current and future needs of your department and the hotel.
9. To ensure daily briefings are carried out in all departments under your control to ensure effective communication.
10. To keep continually updated of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene legislation. Implement required policy adjustments.
11. To chair departmental meetings and participate fully in reviews and meetings
12. Accurate payments to be dealt with in accordance with the Hotel’s standards and the company’s cash handling procedures
13. To be able to cover Duty Manager shifts and deputise for the General Manager
