Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott, Bristol City Centre is seeking a Food & Beverage Host to greet guests and deliver attentive service in our restaurant and bar areas. This full-time role requires a warm, professional touch and a passion for hospitality.

You will take and serve orders, maintain dining area cleanliness, handle guest enquiries, promote menu items, and ensure health and safety standards are met in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage, hospitality or customer service roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain high attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Taking and serving food and beverage orders accurately while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across dining areas and service stations.
• Handling guest enquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, resolving issues promptly.
• Promoting menu items, specials and hotel offerings to enhance the guest experience.
• Following health, safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food & Beverage Host to join our team where you will be the first point of contact in our restaurant and bar areas. You will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional, positive dining experience. This is a full time position.

The Role
