Qualifications

We have a fabulous opportunity to join Sanderson in our Food & Beverage team as an F&B Host.


Job Description

You will support the seamless running of the restaurant spaces, by providing a highly efficient and effective service. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting guests and seating them in our restaurant whilst delivering an Engaging, Dynamic Guest Experience.

You will:

  • Greetand acknowledging guests whilst building a rapport.
  • Recognise repeat guests and addressing them with their names.
  • Accommodateguests needs, i.e. wheel chair, restrooms, movement of drinks from one location to another, etc.
  • Communicate guest complaints and compliments to management.
  • Communicateguest special occasion to staff/management i.e. anniversaries, birthdays, proposals etc.
  • Ensure guest seating is rotated between all service stations.
  • Answertelephone to take new reservation and maintain current reservations within procedural guidelines.
  • Be knowledgeable of food and drink menus offered and be able to answer queries and/or offer suggestions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we ask that you have:

  • Previous experience within hotels or service-based industry would be ideal but not required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Yes, yes, yes mentality.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Have a genuine passion for food and beverage.
