Job summary
LQ Resorts in Oswestry is seeking a part-time or full-time Food and Beverage Assistant to join our F&B team. You will create a warm, welcoming environment during breakfast, lunch and dinner, ensuring guests receive memorable service.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a can-do attitude and a commitment to making a difference. Roles include flexi hours with pay from £8 to £12.71 per hour for both part-time and full-time positions.

- Provide exceptional service to guests, respond to requests and complaints promptly and ensure guest satisfaction
- Prepare outlets for service and ensure readiness for the next shift
- Take beverage orders and serve drinks with attention to detail
- Assist with receiving and storage of goods
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Assist with cellar operations
- Assist with food and beverage function setups
- Clean equipment
- Clean and maintain glassware and crockery for service
- Prepare waiter service stations
- Set up tables
- Maintain professional appearance and clean uniform at all times
- Follow employee handbook policies including cash handling and credit procedures
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested by manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you are responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests during breakfast, lunch and dinner service and provide a great service making the guest experience truly memorable. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, with a can-do attitude and commitment to making a difference.
- Providing exceptional levels of service to all guests responding to requests and complaints in a timely manner and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Preparing the outlets ready for service and ensuring the operation is left ready for the next shift
- Taking beverage orders from customers, preparing and serving drinks as requested, paying attention to detail
- Assist with the receiving and storage of goods
- Maintain a good food safety, hygiene standards and practices
- Assists with cellar operations
- Assists with the preparation of a food and beverage functions service
- Cleaning of equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining glassware and crockery for service
- Preparation of waiter service stations
- Preparation of tables
- Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department specific procedures such as cash handling and credit procedures.
- Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures.
