Job summary

Forbes of Kingennie, a resort near Dundee in Angus, is seeking Food & Beverage Assistants to join our welcoming team. You will help ensure the bar, restaurant and events spaces provide a memorable guest experience, with duties including keeping areas clean, setting tables, using tills, and assisting with events.

Shifts vary 6-10 hours with weekend availability; benefits include staff discounts, free tea/coffee on shift, and a cycle-to-work scheme.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
• Friendly and guest-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar and restaurant areas clean and tidy.
• Set tables to the required standard.
• Use tills and booking systems confidently.
• If over 18, prepare and serve drinks to a high standard behind the bar.
• Assist with events in the Events Suite and Ceremony Building, following set-up instructions.

What will you be doing?

What will you be doing?

• As part of our team, you will help ensure our bar, restaurant, and event spaces provide a welcoming experience for every guest. Your responsibilities will include:
• Keeping the bar and restaurant areas clean and tidy
• Setting tables to the required standard
• Using tills and booking systems confidently
• If over 18, preparing and serving drinks promptly, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness behind the bar
• Assisting with events in our Events Suite and Ceremony Building, ensuring set-up instructions are followed accurately
• Shifts will vary between 6, 8, and 10 hours, with weekend availability required. Supplemental pay includes tips.
