Job Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week

Key Duties

1. Greet and serve customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
2. Conduct yourself professionally at all times, adhering to My Time’s Code of Conduct and standards.
3. Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations when preparing, cooking, and delivering food to customers.
4. Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards.
5. Follow food and drink labelling guidance and stock rotation procedures.
6. Keep vending machines fully stocked and assist with refilling them.
7. Operate a cash register accurately, following cash handling and financial procedures.
8. Accept deliveries, check items against delivery notes, and store them securely.
9. Ensure the F&B area is safe, clean, and welcoming before customers arrive.
10. Perform safety and cleaning inspections as required.
11. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of work areas at all times.
12. Supervise front-of-house during functions, events, and societies.
13. Report any defective services, equipment, or facilities to the manager.
14. Help conserve energy and reduce waste.
15. Wear a clean uniform with a name badge.
16. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.
17. This role involves lone working, some team working, and key holding responsibilities.

Previous experience in a busy bar setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Upholding our standards in cleanliness and service is crucial. The role includes serving alcohol.

You should be willing to work evenings, weekends, early starts, and late finishes.
