Job summary

Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester is recruiting a Food and Beverage Supervisor to support the Refuge venue. You will help ensure the smooth operation of the F&B department, delivering warm, personal service and guiding the team across restaurant, bar and breakfast shifts.

You should have supervisory hospitality experience, a passion for guest experience, and the ability to coach staff. The role offers 40-hour weeks, a strong benefits package, and the chance to belong to the IHG family.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Assistant Manager.
• A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and personal interaction.
• Ability to coach and develop team members to perform at their best.

Responsibilities

• Support F&B managers to ensure the department runs smoothly and guests receive service throughout.
• Handle high-level service recoveries and manage shifts in the absence of an F&B manager.
• Train new starts and be flexible to support across bar and breakfast as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel to deliver consistent guest experiences.

We are looking for an authentic and driven Food and Beverage Supervisor (Full-Time) to join us at Refuge in Kimpton Clocktower Hotel!

Your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting our F&B managers to ensure that the F&B department is running smoothly and that our guests are receiving 5

• service throughout. You will support by dealing with any high-level service recoveries, training any of our new starts and managing your shift in the absence of an F&B manager within our restaurant. You will also be flexible to support across the bar and breakfast as and when business needs require.

So, we are looking for someone who has…

• Availability to work 40 hours per week across a variety of shifts, weekends and evenings required
• Experience working within a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Assistant Manager
• Passion for providing an excellent guest service, you will be someone who enjoys interacting with guests to ensure they are having a uniquely personal experience!
• Experience developing and coaching team members to make sure that they are performing at their best
• A personal license (highly beneficial, can be put through this if required)
• Willing to learn new things and work as part of our wider Hotel team!
