Job summary

The Mole Resort in North Devon is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our luxury countryside resort. You will lead the restaurant, bar and events service, modelling exceptional guest care and operational excellence.

This full-time, permanent role offers £13.50 per hour with opportunities for growth within a vibrant hospitality team, in a beautiful rural setting. You will be required to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or hotel operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Personal Licence is desirable.
• Food Hygiene certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily F&B operations across restaurant, bar, and event spaces.
• Lead, motivate, and coach team members to deliver outstanding guest service.
• Ensure all service standards, health & safety, and food hygiene procedures are maintained.
• Support staff training, onboarding, and performance development.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
• Support management in achieving departmental targets and objectives.
• Ensure the venue is presented to the highest standard.
• Act as a Duty Supervisor during shifts and provide operational support where required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team and help create memorable experiences for our guests.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will support the management team in the day-to-day operation of our restaurant, bar, and events service. You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, presentation, and team performance are consistently delivered.

• Has strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Is flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Holds a Personal Licence (desirable but not essential).
• Has Food Hygiene certification (desirable).
