Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee all F&B operations across weddings, private functions, corporate events and celebrations.
• Lead and develop front-of-house and bar staff, ensuring high service standards.
• Work closely with events and kitchen teams to deliver seamless functions.
• Ensure weddings and events are delivered from setup to service and close-down.
• Maintain exceptional hospitality, presentation, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, service briefings and event preparation to run efficiently.
• Take responsibility for beverage service, stock control, ordering, wastage and cost management.
• Monitor service standards and resolve guest queries or issues promptly.

We are recruiting an outstanding Food & Beverage Manager to join a beautiful countryside wedding and events venue near Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional to take ownership of the food and beverage operation at a stunning venue renowned for hosting busy weddings, celebrations and events.

The Role

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day food and beverage operation, ensuring every wedding and event runs smoothly and every guest receives an exceptional experience.

You will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing your team, maintaining outstanding service standards and working closely with the wider management team to deliver successful events time after time.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent organisation, strong leadership and the ability to remain calm and professional when managing multiple events and competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all food and beverage operations across weddings, private functions, corporate events and celebrations.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of front-of-house and bar staff, ensuring consistently high standards of service.
• Work closely with the events and kitchen teams to ensure every function is delivered seamlessly.
• Ensure weddings and events are executed to the highest standard, from setup and guest arrival through to service and close-down.
• Maintain exceptional standards of hospitality, presentation, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, service briefings and event preparation to ensure the operation runs efficiently.
• Take responsibility for beverage service, stock control, ordering, wastage and cost management.
• Monitor service standards and resolve guest queries or issues professionally and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety, health and safety and relevant hospitality regulations.
• Support the continued development of the venue, identifying opportunities to improve service, efficiency and the overall guest experience.

About You

We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional who understands the demands of a high-volume wedding and events venue and has the confidence to lead from the front.

• Proven experience in a Food & Beverage Manager, Assistant F&B Manager or senior hospitality management role.
• Strong experience within weddings, events, banqueting or large-scale functions.
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
• The ability to organise and oversee multiple events while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Strong commercial awareness, including labour management, stock control and cost management.
• A confident, professional and welcoming approach to hosting guests and managing client expectations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to think on your feet in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays in line with the venue's events calendar.
