Mint People is seeking an experienced Deputy Head of Department in Skipton to lead our busy F&B operations across restaurant, bar and lounge. The role commands a hands-on, senior leadership approach to drive service excellence, staff engagement and guest satisfaction.

You will manage a large multi-outlet team, partner with senior management to optimise operational efficiency and revenue, and ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Food & Beverage professional to take on a key leadership role within a busy, multi-outlet hospitality environment.

This position is responsible for the daily operational leadership of the entire Food & Beverage department, ensuring seamless service, strong team engagement, and exceptional guest experiences across all venues.

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of all F&B outlets, including restaurant, bar and lounge areas

• Support the consistent delivery of high-quality restaurant service standards

• Lead, motivate and develop a large, multi-outlet team including supervisors, servers, bartenders and events staff

• Ensure exceptional guest service across all touchpoints, maintaining high operational standards

• Work closely with senior management to drive operational efficiency and performance

• Support revenue growth through strong service delivery, upselling and continuous improvement

• Maintain control of rotas, staffing levels, service flow and overall guest satisfaction

• Ensure full compliance with food safety, licensing, and health & safety procedures

• Collaborate with kitchen, sales and events teams to deliver seamless experiences for both leisure and event guests

About the Candidate

This is a Deputy Head of Department role, acting on behalf of senior leadership when required. The focus will be on the day-to-day running of restaurant, bar and lounge operations, with flexibility to support wider events, weddings and corporate functions.

The ideal candidate will be:

• An experienced Restaurant Manager or Senior F&B leader within a quality hotel or multi-outlet environment
