Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting for a Food and Beverage Team Member - Bank at Loxley Park Care Home in Sheffield. You will support dining service, help residents with meals and assist with daily front-of-house tasks, contributing to a warm and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
• Experience in a care home, restaurant or hotel desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals and dining service.
• Set tables and maintain front-of-house presentation per SOPs.
• Keep dining areas clean, tidy, and well-presented; clear and replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits and finger foods are available and replenished.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements and accommodate accordingly.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining. Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures. Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options. Being aware of residents dietary requirements.

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate must: Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene. Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents. Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
