Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, reliable Food and Beverage Team Member for the Bank at Silvermere Care Home in Cobham. You will support dining service and help residents enjoy their meals, creating a welcoming dining environment.

You will assist residents with meal choices, set tables, keep front of house clean, replenish crockery and ensure fresh cakes, finger foods and fruit are available. Awareness of dietary requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates high standards of personal hygiene.
• Shows compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel is desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with choosing their meal options at dining times.
• Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit options are available in the bistro areas.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident's dietary requirements.
