Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to support dining services and assist residents with meals at Silvermere Care Home in Cobham.

You will help residents choose meal options, set tables per SOP, keep front of house clean and present, replenish fresh cakes, finger foods and fruit, and respect residents' dietary requirements. DBS check will be completed and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• High standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
• Compassion and commitment to residents' culinary experience.
• Experience in a similar setting or hospitality is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with choosing meal options at dining times.
• Set dining tables in accordance with SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; clear/ replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fruit are available.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Food and Beverage Team Member at Silvermere Care Home in Cobham.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
