Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is hiring a Food and Beverage Team Member for Winchester Heights Care Home in Hampshire. You will support dining services, help residents with meals, and maintain a welcoming dining environment. DBS check and UK eligibility are required to join a warm, award-winning team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal options when dining.
• Set dining tables following SOPs and maintain dining area standards.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy, and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits and fruit are available in the bistro area throughout the day.
• Be mindful of residents' dietary requirements.

About The Role

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.

Other Responsibilities Will Include

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
• Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
• Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate Must Have

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene
• Having experience working in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel would be desirable
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents
